A good original matching pair of circa 1907 to 1950 period 'Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve QAIMNSR nickel badges', worn on on the collar, but also as a cap badge, the reverse of each embossed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Circa 22mm in diameter, fixed shank, maker marked W. Dowler, Superior Quality. In very good condition with some tarnishing to silver which will clean off with a light polish. This pattern may also have been worn by some West Yorkshire Rifle Volunteer Corps.
