A rare WW1 Torpedo badge. This badge had to be applied for and was authorised on 6th June 1918 for wear by Merchant Navy personnel sunk by enemy action. Circa 7.2cm wide and 1.8cm tall. In very good condition.

Circa 23mm in diameter, fixed shank, silver plate now very dark toned. Backmarked CR&Co Extra Rich (Charles Rowley & Co., 146-148 High Street, Bordesley Birmingham). A scarce maker, who also supplied buttons through the blockade to some units American units active in the American Civil War.

Normandy June 1944 - Czech Independent Armoured Brigade Group Woven Cloth Formation Sign
In very good condition. A red cross on a pale blue shield, with the white lion rampant of Bohemia super-imposed on the cross. Scarce.
This Czechoslovakian brigade was formed and trained in England, and took part in the operations in North-West Europe as part of 21st Army Group, landing in Normandy in late June 1944.
