1st ( Royal ) Dragoons Unofficial Brass Eagle Cap Badge, c.1915 - 1919
Brass gilding metal die struck cap badge in good condition, with original slider and with sharp detail. Circa 3.2cm tall excluding slider. Rare.

2nd Dragoons ( Royal Scots Greys ) Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
Slight polishing to the detail on the breast of the eagle otherwise in very good condition with original slider. This pattern was worn until 1971.
The French pattern eagle and scroll ' Waterloo ' below commemorate the capture of the eagle of the 45th Regiment of Infantry who were decimated by the charge of the Royal Scots Greys.

The 3rd ( King's Own ) Hussars Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
A really lovely example with the large pattern White Horse of Hanover, original slider with crimp mark and sharp detail.
A smaller pattern horse appeared in 1930 (much more akin to the size of the horse used on the badge of the West Yorkshire Regiment) and with the addition of "THE" in the title scroll. In 1958, the Regiment was merged with the 7th Hussars.

The 5th ( Royal Irish ) Lancers Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge
A bi-metal die cast cap badge with original slider, with two sweat / braising holes behind the lance pennants (all brass on this version). Motto 'Quis Sebarabit' ('Who shall separate us?'). Original slider maker marked (with correct small pattern style of naming) Lambourne & Co (underscore to letter o), Birmingham. Not noted this badge before by this manufacturer. Scarce.

Bi-metal cap badge with sharp detail and original slider to the reverse. Four sweat / braising holes to the reverse. In very good condition. An all brass version appeared in 1916.
The Regiment was amalgamated in 1957 with the 3rd Hussars to form the Queen's Own Hussars.

The 11th ( Prince Albert's Own ) Hussars Other Ranks Brass Cap Badge
A gilding metal cap badge with original slider. In excellent condition.
The Regiment used the family crest of the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (the family crest of Prince Albert) with the motto 'Treu und fest' ('Loyal and steadfast'). A germanic symbol which survived throughout WW1, unlike the more blatent use eagles by other regiments.
