68th ( 1st Bn DLI ) Light Infantry Other Ranks Glengarry Badge, 1874 - 1881
An original and very clean heavy die struck version of this original glengarry badge, as worn by the predecessors of the 1st Battalion Durham Light Infantry, the 68th Light Infantry Regiment. Two strong and original brass loops to the reverse (one larger and longer in the mouth of the bugle), and correctly positoned. Raised in 1910 and disembodied in 1919. The cyclists wore the standard regular pattern cap badge but with a blackened finish. Some wear to finish on the two original lugs to each but otherwise in great condition. Scarce.

Stunning Matched Pair of Gilt & Silver Senior Officer's Aiguillette Points - Edward VIII, 1936 only
An extremely scarce set of high quality aiguillette points in great condition with only slight tarnishing here and there to the gilt. Circa 11.3cm long. Matched Frosted Silver & Enamel Rank Crowns for the Rank of Major with a single Gilt A for Aide-de-Camp
A lovely pair of frosted silver rank crowns with the jewels picked out in different enamel colours on the crowns with two original silvered lugs to the reverse. Circa 2.1cm tall, together with a small gilt 'A' (1cm tall) on long securing blades (both present) which signifies the position of Aide-de-camp.
