24th Lancers Officer's Large Gilt Button - 1970's reproduction

24th Lancers Large Gilt Button, 26mm in diameter, fixed shank. Just the words Gaunt, London in a circle. steel back. Gaunt is weakly struck and G and T almost missing.

Unidentified pewter button, but possibly standing for Pompiers Local Municipale ( PLM ), a local volunteer fireman. Circa 21mm in diameter, made from pewter and with original integral shank to the reverse. Maker marked , AM & Cie (AM & Co) - Paris. Poor condition with some nibbles to the rope boarder. It depicts Saint George and the Dragon above a central device with conjoined letters "VCF" inlaid with blue and white enamel within a laurel wreath with the words "Law and Order" below.
