A large and impressive brass cast badge in the shape of a 'Cheel' (Kite) facing right with wings outstretched, perched on a scroll with the inscription 'MARWAR', the ancient name for the kingdom of Jodhpur. Three of three integral tombstone style fixings to the reverse. Circa 7.3cms tall. In good worn condition. It was worn on the upper right arm. Rare.

Queens (Royal West Surrey Regiment) Indian Made Sweetheart Brooch - Two Anna coins
A silver heart stamped with the regimental badge of this regiment flanked by two, two silver anna pieces on either side, one with the bust of Edward VII and dated 1910 and the other with the bust of George V and dated 1912 (partly obscured but just visible). A crossover piece between two monarchs. Sadly the pin has snapped off but the C clasp is still present. Sold as seen.
