Royal Munster Fusiliers Cigarette Card Embroidered Silk by E. & W. Anstie
These attractive silks were issued by the tobacco company E.& W. Anstie in WW1, between 1914 and 1916. There were 86 different designs in the Regimental Badge series, of which this is one. An interesting picture, Postally unused but identified on reverse in two separate hands. Some corner wear to three corners and a small crease in top right corner, otherwise a good colonial image of the regiment headed by the band on the march in tropical climes, which by the looks of the background is in Africa.
