Scarce WW1 2nd Birmingham ( Pals ) Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment Other Ranks Cap Badge
An excellent badge on original slider, shaped to cap, some light polishing to highpoints, with all the attributes that those in the know look for - the goatie beard, the shaggy coat and correct method of attaching scroll to the body, with gilt coloured braising metal, correct font. Circa 5cms tall by 5.3cms wide (taking into account the curl).

Durham Light Infantry DLI White Metal Cap Badge (Fat Bugle Variety), King's Crown
Not the typical DLI Cap badge in white metal, but a manufacturer's variation from WW1 which I call the 'fat bugle' variety. Original slider, but this was mounted on wooden board in an old frame and the bend in the slider has been over extended by the person who put it on the board to make it fit.
