A two part cast badge with original fixings. Similar to the pagri badge for this unit but in two parts and the shape of the fittings suggest it may have been worn on a shoulder belt or pouch. An Indian made cap badge, finely cast and stamped "silver" with two original silver loops and maker marked "Manikrai & Sons". Circa 3.4cms tall. Scarce. King's Crown. The badge was actually not approved until 1945 and worn until 1956 (source: p66 MHS Special Bulletin 2022).
