An Indian made sand cast example silver plated with original long slider to reverse (clipped) suggesting it was worn in a sun helmet or pagri band. In very good condition.

The Lions of Ashoka over a wreath, five pointed star in centre, scroll below MILITARY POLICE.

WW2 Indian Army - Indian Engineers Blackened Brass Cap Badge

The Corps of Indian Engineers was former in 1932 and pattern of badge was worn from January 1932 until 1950. A five pointed star of India within a laurel wreath, title below inscribed "Indian Engineers". This one appears to be die cast with two original loops to the reverse and as been wartime blackened.

A nicely made cast badge of Indian manufacture with two original loops to the reverse. A cracking example. Also known as the 'The Padres'. They were not officially a part of the RAChD and were not administered by the Chaplain-General. Circa 3.9cms tall.

The Motto read 'Heavens Light Our Guide' The Arms of the Patee Cross have the Initials 'I.E.E.'.

I believe this is pre 1947 British Indian Army, but have now forgotten the unit. A large solid die cast bugle with two original brass loops to the reverse. Well made. It could of course be a British volunteer unit (6th Cornwalls?) but looks Indian made to me. Circa 4.4cm tall. Any information welcome.

An attractive officer's cap badge in very good condition with sharp detail, and original four tabs to the reverse (most probably for wear on a slouch hat). Circa 4cm tall and 3cm wide.
