Ceylon Planters Rifle Corps Blackened Brass Collar Badge
Smaller than the cap badge (see final photo for comparison, available for sale elsewhere as my item 63089) at circa 3cms tall and 2.4cms wide, with two original loops to the reverse. In good overall condition.
Worn in non-facing pairs, circa 1881 - 1947.

WW1 Indian Army - No 1 Dress Gilt Cap Badge and Shoulder Title for Indian Staff / Unattached Personnel
This pattern of cypher relating to George V and as worn 1911 - 1935, a large die cast gilt cap badge with two original lugs to reverse, UK made. Gilt bright. Circa 4.9cms tall. Fire gilt finish superb. Mounted on red felt backing for display. Together with a single "Staff" gilt shoulder title which is in equally good condition.

Die cast in white metal with two original long dark toned loops to the reverse. In very good condition. Circa 27mm high and 32mm wide. As per item 5GR No D47 as illustrated in "insignia of the 5th Royal Gurkha Rifles (Frontier Force) as published by the Gurkha Museum. This pattern was worn from 1943 - 1947 on the general service cap and beret. Four battalions raised in WW2.

Indian Army Post Independence - Maratha Light Infantry Cast Brass Shoulder Title
A one piece shoulder title in cast brass with two loops to the reverse, one is a replacement afixed with a fair amount of solder otherwise in very good condition. As worn from 1950 with the Maratha shield and crossed swords to the centre of the bugle. Prior to 1947, the Regiment was known as the Mahratta Light Infantry.

This cap badge is of two part construction and of Indian manufacture, gilding metal star and crown with a white metal central mounted riveted device, with two original tombstone style fixings to reverse (north - south, cap to centre of each tab circa 26mm).
