A scarce ball button with the crest of this unit to front. This pattern introduced circa 1935 following the transfer of the Essex RHA battery to the 104th Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery in 1933. Worn by all ranks. Fixed shank, no maker mark. More than one available, please email if more required.

In excavated condition missing shank, circa 21.5mm in diameter. Some crud stuck to reverse so unable to see whether there were any maker marks. Some loss of detail and definition to front but the crown, elephant, numeral '74' and battle honour 'Assaye' still very much discernable. Apparently recovered from the wreak of HMS Birkinhead.

Circa 29 mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Jennens & Co (PoW feathers) London to reverse. A very large solid button with light wear to silver plate on highpoints otherwise in very good condition.
Pre 1912 as Jennens stopped making buttons about then. Scarce as there would only have been circa half a dozen officers' mess room orderlies.
