No 11 in the series of twelve large scale foldable maps covering France and Belgium, this one covering the Lens area which included Arras, Bapaume and of course Lens. Royal Air Force RAF Medical Branch Officer's 1918 Pattern Bronze collar badge
A good scarce die cast bronze example on original loops (some slight twisting to these). Crowned laurel wreath on “Nec Aspera Terrent” scroll; rod and serpent of Aesculapius (the Greek God of Medicine) to voided centre.
AMWO 1217/18 of 10th October introduced this pattern which was shortly superseded by the usual winged pattern still in use today.

Small pattern king's crown collar badge with two original long lugs to the reverse. The Royal Crest to the centre of a Garter Strap above a scroll bearing the title. 2.7cm tall. Length of lugs suggests it may also have been worn on the cap. Evidence of service wear, and some verdigris to the reverse.

small silver plated officer's coatee button of circa 1840s vintage with scarce early maker, Hamburger, London. Fixed shank. Circa 16mm in diameter. Some wear to plate and bronze is showing through. Still, an attractive and scarce early button.
This unit was 10th in the order of precedence of yeomanry regiments. First raised in 1803.
