As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seventeen flames (Grenadier Guards pattern but in white metal) with two original toned loops to the reverse but these have been reinforced or re-secured with lead solder. WW2 Grenadier Guards Sergeants & Musicians Cap Badge - George VI Cypher

A very pleasing gilt brass die struck example with strengthening bar to neck of grenade and two original loops to the reverse and the GR VI Royal Cypher reversed and interlaced struck on the ball. Detail is sharp with no polishing, retaining its original gilt finish. Sealed 23rd March 1941. Worn until circa 1954.

A good scarce die stamped brass example worn pre 1901. Crowned Garter VR cypher reversed and interlaced to a correctly voided centre. Two dark toned loops to the reverse (slight bending). (According to K&K these badges formed part ofthe shoulder titles).
