WW2 55th ( West Lancashire ) Infantry Division 2nd Pattern Embroidered Formation Sign

Unissued condition, drawing pin hole to top of backing cloth otherwise near mint.

Five leaves on each side (for 55th) with red rose of Lancashire. This was a First-Line Territorial Division, composed of Territorial s from the Liverpool and West Lancashire area, and as part of the Home Forces the division was used in a training role.
