As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seventeen flames (Grenadier Guards pattern but in white metal) with two original toned loops to the reverse but these have been reinforced or re-secured with lead solder. A scarce officer's mounted button, circa 15mm in diameter, as worn no side cap and mess dress. Fixed shank and maker marked Pitt & Co, Maddox St, London. Some slight polish from service wear to high points otherwise in very good condition. Worn 1920 - 1946.
The Corps was raised in 1920 and became 'Royal' with a change of badge design in 1946.
