A die struck white metal cap badge star similar in size and design of that worn by officer's/WOs of the Scots Guards, but this one as noted in white metal. Circa 5cms across. WW1 - 5G 5th Gurkha Rifles (Frontier Force) Brass Shoulder Title

An early title, predating the granting of the title "Royal" in 1921. Worn from circa 1894. Circa 15mm tall and 28mm wide. Would originally have been blackened, but this appears to have been cleaned back to the brass. Two original loops to the reverse. In good worn condition.

As worn by all ranks of the Regiment between 1924 and 1950. One of a number of patterns, this one matching 5GR F17G (see below). Circa 23mm tall and 21mm wide. Two original loops. Some service wear to black finish otherwise in good condition.
