Patent. Some slight loss of detail from polishing otherwise in very good condition and a scarce Irish maker. I have left the pipe cleaner on for the shank is fixed and difficult to display on a card without some means of attaching, but easily removed. See also... read more

A dark toned brass die struck badge with two long original loops (bent upwards but functional) and not a slider (as found on copies). A scarce genuine example of this much copied badge. Note the upright "budgie", the short sturdy claw on each owl as it clutches the shield, a proper looking sheep rather than a thin looking dog like creature seen on the copies.
