Postally unused with minor corner wear. Evidence of having been removed from an album. Contemporary hand to the reverse identifies the largest house in the image as being called Greencliffe, which was occupied by army officer's and the sandbag wall below was a trench manned by the Royal Engineers. Legitimate military targets after all it would appear!

Small pattern officers bronze collar badges, a facing and matching pair with two original lugs to each. Excellent condition. Scarce as only worn circa 1951 to 1958. Circa 3.2cm tall and 3.5cm wide. A rare badge worn at the Depot by NCOs of the 1st Battalion in the early 1940s. Two original loops and cotter pin. A few stains to left edge of star point otherwise in very good condition and the last pattern issued of this form of badge.
