Scarce 5 year service silver bar for wear with the Service Medal for the Order of St John
Wide enough to slide over the standard 1.5 inch wide black and white metal ribbon. Possibly silver plate but unmarked, in good condition with sharp detail. The medal itself was issued for 12 years service. The clasp is for a further five.

unidentified bronze grenade but similar to patterns being worn by the Grenadier Guards and Honourable Artillery Company ( H.A.C. ). Sew on rather than fitted with lugs (never has been), see the deliberate holes in the bottom edge of the flames.
