An original example, undated, good colour and the hide remains supple and strong, and it is complete with it's belt-securing strap. Pockets shape retained by being stuffed with old newspaper. Buckles of brass, but white metal nickel dipped. Pocket studs are brass. Possibly a TA issue.

A decorated panel in relief on the outside face of the tankard shows some 1860s style Rifle Volunteers marching in the countryside and shooting, with a dog watching on. Some marks to reverse of base. Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry Other Ranks Gilding Metal Cap Badge
An original and attractive gilt washed brass cap badge with original slider to reverse. A good stiff badge, nicely domed with sharp detail and in very good condition. The design is three sprigs of heather within an oval band surrounded by laurel wreaths with a king 's crown above. This pattern discarded in the early 1920s when the unit adopted the Royal Artillery cap badge.

105th Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers Corps (RVC) Glengarry Badge
This is a genuine and scarce example which is much copied. It is die stamped silver plate with two original silvered loops to the reverse. It appears to have a gilt wash finish on the oval motto srcoll. A really lovely example with sharp detail and of superb quality, possibly officer/senior NCO issue. Circa 5.4cms tall.
