A white winged figure of Victory standing before four white points (The needles of the Isle of Wight) all on a blue ground (commemorating the ports which launched the D-Day invasion). This example faces left. A small stain to reverse otherwise in very good condition. As worn from 1945 - 1948.

RTR Royal Tank Regiment Cast Brass Collar Badge as worn by Band
A cast brass collar badge (same size as cap badge?) with tank facing to the right as worn by members of the band. With original loops. Despite other ranks being issued with a tank facing left from 1925 onwards, this pattern with the tank facing "the wrong way" continued to be worn by members of RTR band until at least WW2. Circa 5cms tall.

Grenade / RWF (Royal Welsh Fusiliers) Early Two Part Brass Shoulder Title
The Grenade is die struck with two original dark toned loops. The RWF is cast brass with two original but thin copper loops (some service wear). Possibly theatre made when in India. Westlake claims RWF was worn from 1898. Owner claims this was made in 1881 when they first became the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) Police Black Metal Helmet Plate 1902 - 1922
A large die struck plate with three original loops (some twisting) and what appears to be the original and correct red felt badge backing cloth. Worn on an 1878 pattern military helmet plate. Circa 10.5cms tall. Black finish in very good condition. Rare.

22nd Regiment of Foot (Cheshire Regiment) Other Ranks Collar Badge, 1879 - 1881
Another rare find, a voided collar badge with 22 to the centre of a wreath all within an eight-pointed star. in brass with two large brass loops to the reverse (e-w). The badge appears to have been laquered. Circa 2.4cms across. Worn only for three years from 1879 until 1881.

WW2 Cheshire Regiment Plastic Economy Cap Badge - Blades
In good condition with minimal distortion to the cellulose acetate plastic (sometimes incorrectly described as Bakelite). Blades original but one appears to have been strengthened with glue and the other shows a fracture mark, so recommend these are not opened. Sold as seen, no returns on this item.
